What is it?
America the Beautiful Fund makes grants of seeds available to volunteers all over the country to grow food for the needy, improve neighborhoods, assist environmental education programs, and create new parks and community gardens.
How can I participate in it?
The only requirements to participate in this program are to share your excess produce with those who need it, like a school, nursing home, or neighbor, and to send in pictures of what you grew. Seeds are usually available in May and offer a variety of flowers and vegetables.
