Rory Hoffmann

Rory is a program administrator for the Weatherization Assistance Program, the Manufactured Home Installation Program, the SHOPP program and the SAA program with the North Dakota Department of Commerce, Division of Community Services. Rory provides monitoring and technical assistance for the Weatherization program as well as trains inspectors and installers for the Manufactured Home Installation Program. In addition, he also help with building codes.

Rory began in the energy conservation field as a crew member for Community Action in Jamestown in 1979 and worked his way through the ranks from crew to estimator to supervisor to Weatherization coordinator before coming to the Department of Commerce in 2010. He also ran the HOME Rehab program at Community Action in Jamestown during his tenure. Rory has held certifications in Lead Based Paint Risk Assessor and Home Energy Rate and is currently certified as an Asbestos Inspector, EPA Lead Paint Renovator, BPI Quality Control Inspector, BPI Energy Auditor, and Healthy Home Evaluator.
