Other Emergency Services

Other services will be available through DPCAA, but they will be available on limited based subject to the availability of funding.

The following represents those services that may be provided through DPCAA:

• Transportation Aid
• Clothing Assistance
• Furniture Assistance

DPCAA does not purchase these items, but relies on donations.

Eligibility Requirements

In addition to the existing income requirements for the various services offered by DPCAA, the following will be required before assistance can be provided:

1. An identification card of some type (i.e. drivers license, social security card)
2. Verification of income must be furnished, when readily available.
3. Release of information must be signed.
4. In most cases where shelter assistance involves past due rent, first months rent, mortgage payments, etc. A copy of a signed lease agreement will be required.
