Safari Berry

Safari started her time with Red River Valley Community Action (RRVCA) as a social work undergraduate intern in 2020 and never left. She began her work at RRVCA as the Region 4 Supportive Services for Veterans Families (SSVF) case manager and spent two years in that position. Safari has recently transitioned into a new role as data manager and completed her master’s degree in social work. She is looking forward to not being in school, for at least a little while.  Safari has a passion for working with and for those who have faced oppression and helping to give them a voice and empowerment.
