Mission Statement: Dakota Prairie Community Action Agency (DPCAA) exists to provide advocacy, programs and services to address the issues of poverty and improve economic self-sufficiency for all households.

DPCAA is one of seven Community Action Agencies (CAAs) operating in North Dakota. CAAs develop programs and provide services that are designed to assist low income and disadvantaged households to address unmet needs. Activities are designed to assist individuals and families to become less dependent on government.

DPCAA serves the residents of Ramsey, Rolette, Eddy, Towner, Benson, and Cavalier Counties.

Eligibility for most programs is based on either federal or state income guidelines. These guidelines vary from program to program and intake forms are used to determine client eligibility. Our programs serve low-income individuals and families, consumers, senior citizens, and others in crisis situations.
